Parmi les kits VAE proposés, le kit VAE Puma RTR représente celui qui excelle dans les montées. Les côtes extrêmes et les longs parcours en montée sont les spécialités du Puma RTR. Avec ce kit de transformation, il vous sera possible de créer un VAE puissant et léger, ainsi que facile à manier, même sur des terrains accidentés. Grâce au train épicycloïdal interne et au nombre élevé de paires de pôles, le moteur a une excellente capacité de franchissement des pentes. Grâce à l’excellente gestion thermique au sein du moteur, le système d’entraînement est paré contre les les plus grandes contraintes. Le Puma RTR est le compagnon idéal lors de virées difficiles en terrains montagneux et est une aide puissante lorsqu’il s’agit de transporter des charges de poids élevées.

Le système de contrôle RTR utilise le Cycle Analyst V3-WP comme ordinateur de bord. Un capteur pour VAE spécial en quadrature (régulation de la puissance par la vitesse de rotation de la manivelle en combinaison avec le potentiomètre) ou un boîtier de pédalier NCTE (régulation de la puissance par la force d’appui exercée sur les pédales en combinaison avec le potentiomètre) est connecté au Cycle Analyst. Tous les composants ont été coordonnés et paramétrés. Les contrôleurs Baserunner et Phaserunner ultra robustes assurent la puissance considérable du vélo grâce à leurs connecteurs étanches (IP67) haute performance.
Components of the PLUS System
All small parts required for the conversion are located in the basic box. These include, for example, various cables, fixing materials, sensors, adapters, torque supports, cranks, plugs and various other parts depending on the retrofit kit. For some conversions we offer a basic box for the front wheel and rear wheel. Make sure that the selected base box fits your engine type.
Cycle Analyst V3 - The Ultimate Bike Computer
The Cycle Analyst V3 combines the features of a bicycle computer with those of an electronic control system. This cockpit not only provides detailed information about all relevant parameters of the system in real-time, but also gives you a comprehensive control over all aspects of your drive. The Cycle Analyst provides the EBS Programmable Controller with set limits and values to enable driving profiles according to your individual needs.
- Displayed Data: besides the typical features of a bicycle computer, instantaneous data, net energy, recuperation, Wh/km, peak current, charging cycles are also displayed.
- Adjustable Parameters: Speed limitation, current limitation, undervoltage cutoff
PID Control (“Proportional-Integral-Derivative“ control) - In practice, this term, which seems complicated at first glance, means that the drive does not stop abruptly when reaching maximum speed, but regulates gently backwards. This results in a very natural driving experience in spite of lively power development and high top speeds.
With the Potentiometer you can directly control individual functions of the Cycle Analyst without having to go through the menu. It is mounted directly on the display and thus enables easy operation while driving.

NCTE Bottom Bracket with Torque Control
Completly natural driving experience through pedalling force support: Adjust the support factor steplessly between 0 – 500% of your own pedalling force up to the maximum power. The setting can be made steplessly via the rotary potentiometer on the Cycle Analyst during the ride – so you always ride with your current and completely individual performance profile.
For other bottom bracket types than 4-sided bottom brackets the crank may have to be changed, please note the dropdown at the beginning of this product page.
PUMA Motor - 1500W Peak Power
When we assembled our EBS BergFex we chose the PUMA motor because it has been known for years as one of the most powerful and durable high-power geared motors. Another argument in favour of this high-tech motor is the continuous improvements that keep the PUMA at the cutting edge of technology. These advances go so far that the PUMA now surpasses and replaces the BMC. The robust construction is designed for strong gradients and can withstand the resulting high thermal loads over long distances, due to the large cooling holes inside the engine. Despite the outstanding performance data, the engine weighs only about 4.5 kg thanks to its optimized design: under the housing there is a planetary gear made of special composite plastic, which saves a lot of material and enables the excellent climb rate of the PUMA.
The motor axles are also equipped with close-knit O-ring seals, which guarantee very good water protection. The particularly smooth freewheel ensures that you can drive with less effort even when the engine is switched off, as the engine rotates very easily in the direction of travel. The EBS BergFex 1200W conversion kit is suitable for both rim brakes and disc brakes due to the brake disc holder.
EBS Programmable 12 FET Controller
Driving behavior and performance of a system are determined to a large extent by the controller used. The EBS controller shown here has 12 MOS-FETs for fast conversion of even higher currents. The resulting waste heat is dissipated via the cooling fins of the aluminium housing. This high-speed commutator can not only drive motors at high speeds, it is also optimally matched to the interaction with the cycle analyst . All connectors are either professional Anderson® PowerPole® connectors or high quality JST connectors. The splash-proof controller is designed for a battery with up to 50.4V nominal voltage and up to 30A continuous current.
As with our other E-Bike conversion kits, the EBS BergFex PLUS conversion kit is supplied with an open thumb throttle. Whether you attach the throttle at all, you can decide freely - the system also works without one.
Cycle Analogger: GPS Tracking and Tour Recording
With the Cycle Analogger you record your GPS position data and the measurement data of your Cycle Analyst during the ride. In combination with the Cycle Analyst you get with the Cycle Analogger a power meter for man and machine, which stores all collected data on the included 1 GB Micro SD card. These can be further processed by you after the journey and archived later. In addition, you can use the Online Trip Analyzer to analyze your trips, view them on a map and share them with others.
Cycle Satiator - the Universal Charger
Of course we could recommend any other of our compatible chargers, but then you would miss the chance to get to know the ultimate Cycle Satiator. Equipped with a charge spectrum of 24V-50.4V and a variable charge current of 0A-8A, this charger of the extra class lasts almost any battery with an efficiency of 95%. EBS Hi-Power Ebike Battery
For your E-Bike conversion kit to deliver maximum performance, it needs a lot of power. These are supplied by our EBS Hi-Power Ebike batteries, which are equipped with high-capacity 18650 cylindrical cells and controlled and protected by a Battery Management System (BMS). Assembly of the Brake Disc
Front wheel and rear wheel motors are equipped with a 6-hole brake disc holder. The new housing for the PUMA is considerably slimmer than the previous model, so that now ALL brake disc sizes can be mounted. Previous PUMA models had only 203 brake discs compatible.
Note: Only use 5x8mm screws to mount the brake disc. Longer screws will block the mechanics of the motor and may damage your conversion kit. Suitable screws can be found here: 5x8mm stainless steel TORX screws.

Lacing Service: Professional Impeller Construction
Gladly we take over the professional impeller construction for you. Our mechanics process only high-quality components and pay particular attention to robustness and longevity. We only use stainless steel spokes and, if technically possible, highly stable aluminium hollow-chamber rims. Please indicate in the order comment after the shopping cart how many pinions/wheels your plug-in cassette has and whether you want a certain valve type (AV/DV/SV). You can also send us your own rim for spoking instead. Please keep in mind, however, that we cannot reduce the price, as the accurate measurement requires additional work. If you would like to order a Tadpole Trike, please let us know in the order note, as it may be necessary to save differently. We will then contact you.
Conversion in our Workshop
You don't want to retrofit your bike yourself? No problem, in our workshop we can convert your ordinary bicycle into an electric bicycle with the conversion kit you have requested. In addition to the retrofit, you will receive a free initial inspection!
