NCTE version RT square taper bottom bracket

The NCTE bottom bracket - Version "RT" is used to monitor pedelec e-drives via rotational speed (rpm). The Version "RT" is compatible to most frame types and systems and features a very high amount of available data. Its low energy consumption preserves battery capacity for long-lasting riding fun. Precise signal detection promotes better handling and a more natural ride feeling.

Since the "RT"version's sensor technology is hidden on the inside, it is well-protected from disturbing influences like water, dust and vibration. So the bottom bracket is maintenance-free and does not need to be calibrated after each ride.

We offer NCTE bottom brackets in two axle lengths: 120mm and 136mm

L and K version only differ from another in the polarity of sinus and cosine signals, in labelling and by a mark on the axle. With the K version the blue strand emits a cosine signal when rotating forward, the brown strand emits a sinus signal (provided chain ring is on the right side), with the L version it's the other way round.

Adjusting the K version with the Cycle Analyst 3.0:
With the K version "PAS" adjustment in "DirPlrty" has to be set to "Fwd" in order to forward rotation can be recognized as such. As an alternative when assembling the connectors the blue and the brown strand can be interchanged (brown to blue and blue to yellow), then you have to use the "Rev" pre-setting of the Cycle Analyst.

NCTE bottom bracket are identical to "Thun X-Cell RT" bottom bracket.

Please note: For correct operation of the NCTE bottom bracket its cable ports have to be modified with JST connectors to fit the Cycle Analyst 3.0's ports.
